We walk the walk and talk the talk.

I am currently an officer in the California State Guard.

My wife and I, combined, have surfed up and down the coast of California most of our lives, Texas, Florida and Hawaii, Mexico, Fiji, New Zealand, Brazil and Australia.

We’ve skied Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and of course California. We annually ski Heavenly in So. Lake Tahoe.

We’ve done Christian mission trips to Africa and Mexico.

I have climbed and summited Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise money for the children in Kenya, along with summiting Mt. Whitney and other local So. Cal mountains.

We have overlanded and camped much of So. Cal and we’ve even o-landed (overlanded) to Maine just for a lobster dinner.

In short, adventure is in our DNA.

Being a research and development engineer with a BS in Biomedical Engineering and MS Engineering Systems, I can see what works and what doesn’t, what’s fluff and hype, what’s efficient and what’s not, and what will actually save your life and/or provide a more enjoyable outdoor experience.
